Work on camp buildings

Specialized camp services

Mining camp remediation

Contamination in a mining camp calls for work adapted to the buildings, their occupancy and site constraints. LPT coordinates the assessment of needs and the remediation work agreed with the client.

Understand the situation first

Available observations, the materials involved, building history and the client’s needs help define the scope. Inspections, sampling or laboratory analyses can be planned where appropriate. The intervention area is established before the crew is mobilized.

Coordinate with the site

Work-area preparation, containment where required, removal of the designated materials and specialized cleaning are planned around the agreed scope. Access, other work in progress and building occupancy are part of that coordination.

Plan the next steps

End-of-work checks and required documents are established with the client. Where repairs or renovation are needed, these can be coordinated with LPT’s other services.

Which buildings can the scope cover?+

Dormitories, service buildings, common areas and modular facilities in a camp or on a mining site can be included in the scope.

Is an inspection needed before remediation?+

What information should I provide?+

Share the camp location, buildings and areas concerned, known observations, available documents and desired schedule.
